EXTERIOR CLAD - The exterior of all SunClad products is composed of heavy-gauge aluminum extrusions on both the sash and frame. This provides exceptional strength and long life for the product. The extrusions are coated with factory applied, baked-on enamel finish. Available colors are white, vanilla, sand and bronze, or it can be painted.
INTERIOR - SunClad products feature a beautiful, high-grade, clear wood interior that is suitable for staining or painting. All wood components are treated with a wood preservative for long life.
HARDWARE - SunClad Easy-Tilt Double Hung Hardware consists of a pair of positive contact, floating vinyl jamb liners, a spring balance system (contained in the jamb liners), one or two cam action sash locks (depending on the window width), and finger release tilt latches. The jamb liners provide constant, positive contact with the sash for proper sash operation and side air seals.
GLASS - All Sun products use dual glazed insulated glass. This is composed of 2 pieces of glass with a 1/2" hermitically sealed airspace between them. The standard insulated glass unit uses 2 pieces of clear glass. Tempered insulated glass units (both glass pieces) are standard on all door units. |
